Graduate student and member of Dr. Robert McKenna's laboratory, Carrie Lomelino was awarded a bronze award at the 43rd annual Medical Guild Research Symposium.

The Advancement to Candidacy Award, aimed at recognizing outstanding students in their mid-tenure after they have passed their qualifying examination in their third year of study, was awarded to Akilah Murray and two other finalists.
