The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the College of Medicine enjoy a strong graduate program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. This program is one of six disciplines that make up our college-wide graduate program in Biomedical Sciences. Faculty in the Department are actively engaged with the graduate students in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology program in their research laboratories, courses, and journal clubs. We offer a diverse range of courses including courses in Molecular and Cell Biology, Physical Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Metabolism, and Regulation of Transcription. Within this program, students can take a variety of courses or focus their coursework in areas such as Molecular Biology or Structural Biology.
